Rules & Regulations
The Cosmoprof & Cosmopack North America (“Cosmoprof”) 2025 Awards (“Cosmoprof Awards”), and Las Vegas CosmoTrends Competition (“LV CosmoTrends”) (collectively, the “Promotion”) is only open to exhibitors attending Cosmoprof & Cosmopack North America Las Vegas 2025 and Miami 2025 (Awards only).
The Cosmoprof North America Miami 2025 event is hereby referred to as the “Miami Show”. The Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas 2025 event will take place from July 15-17, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada (the “LV Show”). Collectively, each of the LV Shows and Miami Shows shall herein be individually referred to as a “Show” and collectively, the “Shows”.
The Promotion is sponsored by USA Beauty LLC dba Cosmoprof North America (“Organizer”). Employees (and their immediate families and households) of Organizer, BEAUTYSTREAMS, and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, dealers, and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter.
The entry period for the Promotion begins on or around Monday, April 7, 2025 at or about 12:01 AM PST and ends on or about June 02, 2025, at or around 11:59 PM PST (“Entry Period”).
Each applicant must complete and submit an entry form (“Entry Form”) for their product to be considered. Entry Forms must be submitted in English only. Applicants who submit an Entry Form for the Cosmoprof Awards will also be considered for LV CosmoTrends. Applicants who submitted an Entry Form for the CosmoTrends report for Miami are automatically in consideration for the Cosmoprof Awards..* Entry Forms cannot be withdrawn from the judging process by the applicant once an applicant has been short-listed and/or announced as a Finalist. Short-listed applicants and Finalists may be required to provide additional product information and copies of supporting documents upon the request of Organizer or BEAUTYSTREAMS.
In the event of any dispute, Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entry and/or retract any prize package or award from the applicant. All decisions made by Organizer and/or BEAUTYSTREAMS are final and binding in all aspects relating to the Promotion. Organizer is not liable for any costs or liabilities incurred by applicants during any part of the judging process.
Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withdraw any applicants from the judging process at any time, if their entries are deemed inappropriate for any reason (including false or inaccurate information declared in the Entry Form). Organizer also reserves the right, at its sole and unchallengeable discretion, to ban with immediate effect from the Promotion, any applicant in case of: (i) inaccurate completion of the Entry Form for whatever reason (including in case of provision of false or inaccurate information); (ii) ascertained or suspected infringement of third-party rights, including intellectual property rights and copyrights; (iii) disparaging behavior or corruption towards the judges of the Promotion and/or Organizer’s or BEAUTYSTREAMS’ personnel; or (iv) any dispute and/or claim pertaining to the products and/or to the contents presented by applicant to the Promotion.
Each applicant should note that the product identified on their Entry Form may be publicly disclosed. If deemed necessary or appropriate, the applicant should file a patent application before submission. Nevertheless, subject to institutional policy, every applicant shall be solely responsible for the pursuit of any form of intellectual property protection for their submission. Organizer is not liable for infringement, misuse, or abuse of any design as a result of entry the Promotion, or as a result of any subsequent promotion and publicity.
Organizer is not responsible for the proof of originality of the entries reflected on any Entry Form, and is not liable for the protection of design copyright. Each applicant (i) retains sole copyright to their entry, (ii) is responsible for providing proof of originality of their entry, and (iii) is solely liable for their design(s), samples, and entry.
By submitting the designs, images, and products to Organizer, each applicant agrees and declares that they are authorized to and hereby grant Organizer and its licensees and assignees, a royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to exercise all rights in the designs, images, and product samples and all material provided by the applicant to Organizer at any time (including, but not limited to, the right to use, to copy, edit and/or modify, publicly display, publicly perform, broadcast, and republish in any/all media). Each applicant grants Organizer and its affiliates the right to use their name, likeness, biographical information and/or photograph, both online and in print, for the purposes of advertising, publicity, and promotional materials, without further consent required or additional compensation provided, except to the extent prohibited by law.
To the extent an applicant is required to mail any physical samples to Organizer in connection with the Promotion, such individuals are required to cover any shipping/courier costs and duties related to the product sample submission. Applicants acknowledge that they ship their products at their own risk and are fully responsible for any theft or damage that occurs during transport. Organizer declines any and all liability in case of deterioration, damage, or alteration of the products during transport to the place of delivery indicated by Organizer or during the unpacking and installation of the products at the LV Show, including any loss of the products during transport. All information submitted, including products, will not be returned.
Entry to the Promotion does not grant an organization or individual rights to use the name, logo, or images of Cosmoprof, CosmoTrends, Organizer, or any of its affiliates, without the express written approval of Organizer. Short-listed applicants, Finalists, and Winners will be required to enter into a separate licensing agreement related to its limited right to use any intellectual property of Organizer, including the Seal.
In the event that the infringement and/or illicit behavior of the applicant should result in actions or claims by third parties also involving the Organizer, the applicant in question shall indemnify and hold harmless Released Parties (defined below) from any and all direct or indirect damages, loss, or expense (including disbursements and legal fees) connected with or deriving from the aforementioned breaches or tort of the applicant.
Each applicant agrees they will abide and be bound by these Rules & Regulations of the Promotion. Any applicant who, in the opinion of Organizer, is perceived to have harassed or bribed any member of the judging panel or the Cosmoprof or CosmoTrends team, will have their entries disqualified. By entering the Promotion, each applicant warrants that: (i) all details provided with the Entry Form are true and accurate; (ii) they have all necessary rights and licenses to grant the rights set out in these Rules & Regulations; (iii) they are the copyright owner of the submitted photograph and/or images as its author (and any individual whose image is featured in the photograph has given consent for the use of his/her image); (iv) they are the copyright owner and owner of all intellectual property rights in all logos and/or names of products submitted to the Promotion and, if selected, featured at the LV Show; (v) the exercise of the rights granted to Organizer in these Rules & Regulations will not infringe the rights of any third parties.
Each applicant fully releases Organizer, its affiliates, BEAUTYSTREAMS, and its and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, as well as the judges of the Promotion and all others associated with the development and execution of the Promotion (collectively, “Released Parties”) from any liability, loss, damage, or injury resulting from participating in the Promotion (including attending and/or exhibiting at a Show), or awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize awarded herein. Released Parties are not responsible or liable for purchases or subsequent usage of any portion or component of the prize package.
Released Parties assume no responsibility for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in the Promotion. Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operations/transmission or communications-line failure; or (ii) theft of, destruction of, unauthorized access to, or alteration of Entry Forms. Released Parties are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, or providers, and computer equipment or software. Released Parties are not responsible for any failure of email or entry on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to any applicant or any person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Promotion or downloading or uploading materials to/from the websites. If the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, hacking, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonably control of Organizer which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Promotion, Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Promotion and award the prizes from among all Entry Forms received prior to the time of termination.
Each applicant will fully indemnify Released Parties against any past, present or future loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense whatsoever resulting from or related to any Promotion related activity, including (i) participation in the Promotion, (ii) attending the LV Show, (iii) acceptance, use/misuse of any prize, and (iv) any breach of these warranties or applicable law. Each applicant will fully indemnify Released Parties for any loss, liability, damage, cost or expense in relation to any infringement of third-party intellectual property rights or violation of applicable law.
By entering, applicants agree that any personal information provided will be used/store in accordance with Organizer’s Privacy Policy. The Promotion, Cosmoprof Awards, LV CosmoTrends, and related events, web pages, content and code are the property of Organizer or their licensors. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks, or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of owner is strictly prohibited. Void where prohibited or restricted.
COSMOPROF AWARDS DETAILS
For each of the six (6) categories (“Award Categories”) below, BEAUTYSTREAMS, a beauty trends forecasting agency, will select four (4) finalists in consultation with Organizer. From that pool, one (1) winner for each Award Category will be selected by a panel of judges.

BEAUTYSTREAMS will consider each short-listed entry against the category criteria and at its own discretion, based on its relevant experience and expertise within the beauty industry. To ensure the highest possible score, the Entry Form for each Award Category should be completed in full, including only information that is relevant to the Award Category. A photograph of the product must also be included with the Entry Form. Organizer and BEAUTYSTREAMS reserves the right, after consultation with the applicant, to amend Section 1 of their Entry Form (Award Category) as appropriate.
There will be twenty-four (24) shortlisted finalists (“Finalists”) and six (6) winners (“Winners”) total. The odds of being selected as a Finalist depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The odds of being selected as a Winner of each Award category is 1 in 4.
On or about June 24, 2025, Organizer and BEAUTYSTREAMS will announce which applicants have been shortlisted as a Finalist in the Cosmoprof Awards on the Cosmoprof North America website.
Once shortlisted, Finalists are required to submit, at a minimum, five (5) full-sized products and any additional information requested by Organizer no later than July 3, 2025, according to Organizer’s further instructions.
The Cosmoprof Awards judging panel, made up of around ten (10) retailers, brand executives, designers, research and development experts, as well as B2B and B2C press with relevant expertise and experience in the beauty industry, will consider each Finalist against the Award Category criteria and their own discretion to select the Winners. The Winners of each Award Category will be announced at the welcome reception at the LV show on July 15, 2025. The judges’ decisions are final and binding. No discussions or correspondence will be accepted relating to any of their decisions.
Finalists will
• have their product featured on a dedicated website offering visibility of their product for one (1) year
• have their product featured in a Cosmoprof Awards themed installation at the LV Show
• receive an official Cosmoprof Awards Seal to be used for promotional campaigns
• receive a dedicated marketing campaign prior to and after the LV Show
Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize package is $4,000 USD. Finalists and Winners will comply with all guidelines, instructions, and directives issued by Organizer in relation to the prize package. Finalists and Winners may not substitute, assign, or transfer any element of the prize package, but Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value. Prizes are awarded ‘as is’ with no warranty or guarantee, express or implied. Each Finalist and Winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release, provide valid identification, and any relevant tax forms upon request, or any portion of the prize package may be forfeited. All federal, state, and local taxes, if any, and all other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of Finalists and Winners. All prize details are at Organizer’s sole discretion.
By entering, applicants acknowledge and agree that Organizer makes no representation or warranty as to any business outcome resulting from attendance at a Show, participation in the Cosmoprof Awards, or from any prize component. Finalists and Winners may be required, at Organizer’s sole discretion, to sign a contract as a condition of receipt of any portion of the prize package.
* All exhibitor applicants who previously attended the Cosmoprof North America Miami Show and submitted an application for the Cosmoprof North America Miami ComoTrends Miami 2025 initiative will be entered into the same entry pool as the applicants from the LV Show. Only one Awards program will be produced for the Cosmoprof Awards.
COSMOTRENDS DETAILS
BEAUTYSTREAMS, a beauty trends forecasting agency, will review and select, in consultation with Organizer, certain products reflecting specific new trends in the beauty industry. BEAUTYSTREAMS will consider each entry against the category criteria and at its own discretion, based on its relevant expertise and experience within the beauty industry. Based on all submitted Entry Forms, BEAUTYSTREAMS will establish categories that are trending in the beauty industry and score each product according to how well it sits in the relevant established category. Only LV 2025 exhibitors may submit an entry form for consideration. Limit one entry per applicant. Multiple entries will be voided.
Applicants will be asked to share information about their product, including a description, launch date, marketing strategy, and must provide a hi-resolution image of the product within the Entry Form. To ensure the highest possible score, the Entry Form for each award category should be completed in full, including only information that is relevant to the CosmoTrends’ category to enable the judging panel to assess merit.
On or about June 11, 2025, Organizer will contact applicants who have been short-listed via email and/or telephone. Each featured applicant will receive a seal from Organizer to signify their product was selected as ‘trending’ (“Seal”). Being featured in CosmoTrends earns applicants the opportunity to have their product featured at the LV Show. This prize package (“Prize”) has an approximate total value of $4000. Winners may not substitute, assign, or transfer the Prize, but Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value. Odds of being short-listed depend on total number of eligible Entry Forms submitted.
Once selected to be featured, applicants will be required to submit at least two (2) product samples requested by Organizer no later than July 3, 2025, according to the instructions provided by Organizer. These product samples will be showcased at an onsite installation at the LV Show.
The preshow CosmoTrends report will be released on July 15, 2025.
